Play your part in making Wrenathon a great success

Featuring hundreds of singers from over twelve community choirs across nine city churches, Wrenathon is vocal music marathon taking place on 24th June.

With gospel, a cappella, pop, immersive choral theatre, global and folk song, classical choral music and featuring vocalists young and old, this very special one-off event brings together singers of all styles to showcase the breadth of community singing today.

We are looking for volunteers who can help out and make the day a success!

What’s involved?

    • Support the set-up of choir ‘backstage’ refreshments, and clear at the end of the event.
    • Welcome audiences on arrival at church.
    • Hand-out flyers to audiences and direct them to the full program online via QR code.
    • Support audiences with wayfinding and routes between churches.
    • Welcome choir members on arrival at church.

No experience is necessary, however, being friendly, approachable and welcoming is a must. You will need to be prepared to be on your feet for a large portion of the day.

In return, add to your CV by gaining experience of assisting with major public events and learning how large events function behind the scenes. You will also get to will meet new people and work as part of a small and friendly team. Above all, you will be a part of something momentous and know that you have played a part in the national celebration of Sir Christopher Wren and Wren300 project.
